Vintage Half Apple Limoges Trinket Box, Peint Main Parry-Vieille

There is just something so special about a Limoges box, and for good reason. The porcelain is exceptional to begin with. The hand painted detail is applied one color at a time and carefully fired after each application. The band and hinge are carefully applied and the clasp relates back to the box; in this case it's a sweet bee.

~CONDITION:
Excellent vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks or fleabites; the metal bezel is secure, as is the clasp. The glaze is absolutely mezmerizing to look at, especially at the core and pits, it's just the sweetest little box!  It has been carefully cleaned and is ready to go to its new home.
