Large Vintage Mid Century Georges Briard Silver Overlay Floral Serving Bowl

This was a surprising piece to find; we don't come across a lot of silver overlay done in a) a Mid Century style and b) by Georges Briard.  The modernist floral pattern made it pretty impossible to miss, and the Georges Briard signature sealed the deal.  Perfect to glam up your chips or popcorn for movie night, add to your Mid Century glass collection, or even as a fantastic catch-all for your bits and bobs like those clunky bangles that never seem to have a place to live!

~CONDITION:
Excellent vintage condition.  The silver is not scratched or worn, and there are no chips or nicks in the glass.  The silver is tarnished and is such a fantastic contrast to the brass that is applied prior to adding the silver. The bowl has been hand washed and dried and is ready to head off on its new life.
