Today is International Women's Day, and I just want to take a minute out of my day to acknowledge the women out there who are doing their best day in and day out.
To my friends, family, and strangers alike who are working their full time jobs, side hustlin', and trying to raise a family, to keep a clean house, and keep relationships going all while (often times) being paid less and certainly expected to do more than their male counterparts, I salute you.
It is freaking exhausting trying to do it all, and I bow to your divine powers. The powers that allow us to smile through it, to scream through it, to fight like the dickens to push on, because this stuff is hard. But we've got this, sisters. We do. If it means something gets left behind for later to take care of our lives, our babies, our selves right now.. it's OK. We'll put on our big girl panties and work it out when we can.
Today is for you, my girlfriends. Let's just keep being our badass selves and keep fighting for the right to have a seat at the table.
